The Living Room

So these photos aren’t all that current, but I wanted to at least put them out there. This is how our living room was looking as of two+ months ago. Not really much had changed, until this week (*to be revealed soon). Also, I’ve hung the 5foot painting between those two windows and it kinda looks fab.

Can’t wait to photograph this room again.

Right now we have these grey sheers on a spring rod on the tiny tall windows. They are nice for privacy but not so cute. I’m not sure that there is a better option for them though since they are such a strange size. Any ideas for me?

This lamp is the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought at Goodwill at $36. I’m SO in love with it though. At some point I should really secure the shade- it’s sort of precariously balanced and the kittens love to knock it off.
I’m sad I couldn’t find photos from when we bough the place. Lets just say this room was basically empty (besides the rug) for almost 4 months after we moved in. I’m so glad to have made some progress even though it has a ways to go.
